Our twice yearly retreat at Florence House in Seaford in East Sussex is a wonderful blend of Dynamic, Hatha and Restorative Yoga and Pilates. Facilitated by Sally Parkes and Paula Hines, this retreat focuses on re-balancing both the body and mind, and with our healthy eating menu this weekend retreat is also a great way to detox after. Classes will be gently invigorating as well as restorative and are suitable for all abilities as well as beginners. There will also be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and stunning Sussex coastline.
We will be retreating on Florence House on October 4-6th 2013.

Food and nutrition
We respect the important role it plays in the promotion of wellness and general good health. Our food is nutritionally
balanced and well thought out to provide you with enough vital vitamins, minerals and energy to keep you tip-top throughout your stay with us. All food is vegetarian and we are happy to cater for dairy gluten and wheat free diets. As well as three meals per day we also provide fresh fruit and afternoon snacks and a selection of teas are available throughout your stay.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements. All our retreats are alcohol free.

Classes are for all abilities and will take places in the heated yurt.
Dynamic Yoga is faster paced than Hatha yoga and works by generating heat within the body allowing your muscles to stretch whilst they strengthen. A more gentle form of Dynamic yoga than Ashtanga yoga that is suitable for all abilities.
Pilates is very effective in strengthening both the abdominal and lower back area as it works by creating stability within the body. We will work through a number of Pilates movements and variations using Pilates exercise balls and bands.
