Yoga and Vegetarian Cookery Retreat at Marsh Farm House
A wonderful weekend of vegetarian cookery and yoga at the beautiful Marsh Farm House. Learn to make simple, easy and delicious meals with our in-house chef. As our groups are small and friendly it is also a great way to meet new people, learn some new skills and simply relax. All food is meat free as well as dairy and wheat free and we are happy cater for vegan diets and other special diets. You will also receive a free list of recipes to take away with you.

Typically classes will cover the following:

The Yoga classes are taught by Mary Jane Eckert and are a combination of energising Dynamic Yoga in the morning followed by a more restorative practice of Hatha yoga later in the day. All abilites will be catered for. The emphasis of the postures will be on detoxification and together we will work through yoga

Pranayama: Breath Control
During the Yoga lessons we will also practice breathing techniques that will assist your detox and yoga practice by calming the nervous system & stimulating the digestive system.

Yoga Nidra: Deep Relaxation
Yoga Nidra (meaning 'yogic sleep') is a form of deep relaxation and is offered before bed to encourage restful sleep so you will feel refreshed & renewed both mentally & physically.

The Cookery Workshops
Lucie's workshops give a brief
introduction into the world of Vegetarian Detox cooking and will include:
Basic principles of a Vegetarian Detox diet, which can be easily incorporated into any diet, to enhance the nutritional value of meals, with added benefits of weight loss, increased energy level and improved sense of general well-being.
Advice on store cupboard essentials, which can be used as a base for an array of meals, as well as tips and tricks to smooth menu planning.
Practical skills such as Vegetarian sushi rolling, delicious raw chocolate balls, homemade spelt scones.You will leave with a collection of simple, hearty, vegetarian detox recipes. (Many of which will be sampled over the weekend).

Getting there
Marsh Farm House is in between the historic towns of Arundel and Chichester and is just a few miles from the sea and the South Downs. Marsh Farm is situated approximately 5 miles west of Arundel in the small hamlet of Binsted which is 2 miles from the A27.The mainline stations of Arundel and Barnham are just 5 miles from the Centre. Taxis are available at both stations and cost approximately £12.
Cost
The weekend costs £267 for a sharing room or £287 for a single room. Please note single rooms are very limited and are offered on a first come first served basis.
This cost includes all classes, accommodation, meals, snacks.
Fresh fruit and vegetable juices are made twice a day at no extra cost.
