Lucie Ash: Catering

Lucie’s immersion into the world of Vegetarian Detox cooking happened quite organically. She is not vegetarian, but enjoys the challenge of producing delicious meat-free dishes and loves the feeling and the positive effect on mood, after eating fresh, healthy, vitamin-rich vegetarian food.

Whilst cooking on yoga and detox retreats, Lucie has sourced, adapted and created some delicious cross-cultural dishes, without the use of dairy, wheat, caffeine, sugar or excessive salt, the absence of which allow the body to rest and repair. Many have reported to feel the benefits after just a short weekend retreat.

The main source of inspiration for her vegetarian cooking comes from her fond memories of the former Cranks restaurant in London where the vast array of wonderful salads, pies, dips, sauces, looked and tasted so delicious, the absence of meat was hardly noticeable.  She is also inspired by Aurvedic principals, as well as the increasingly popular Raw Food style of cooking.
