Sally Parkes: Yoga & Pilates

Sally Parkes, BSc, has teaching since 1998 and has a wealth of experience in both yoga and Pilates and has studied in India, Thailand and the UK. Now based in London, Sally teaches people from all walks of life and prides herself on making yoga and Pilates accessible to everyone regardless of age, ability or experience. 

As the founder of 200 hour Laxmi Yoga Teacher Training Sally divides her time between teachnig classes, one to one sessions and running yoga training courses. Sally also presents master classes and workshops at various health and well-being conferences including The Yoga Show and The Vitality Show, and has written articles for a number of health and fitness magazines as well as being Technical Expert for www.yoga-abode.com. Sally teaches regularly at Indaba Yoga Studio in Marylebone, London. For more info see the 'About' page.

Mary Jane Eckert: Hatha and Dynamic Yoga

Mary Jane is inspired to help cancer survivors in their rehabilitation and recovery.  She has trained with Tari Prinster, a leader in yoga and cancer programs, and has successfully completed the Cancer Survivor Teacher Training Certificate Program at OM Yoga in New York City.  She regularly volunteers across many cancer programs when in the USA. Mary Jane has studied under many world renowned teachers such as Brian Cooper, Seane Corn, Ana Forrest, Anne Carpenter, David Swenson, Nawajyota, David Life and others across both the Europe and the U.S.  She continues her studies by regularly attending workshops and retreats.

Paula Hines: Hatha and Restorative Yoga

Paula has practised and studied a range of yoga styles over the past ten years and is a 200 hour yoga teacher
registered and fully insured with Yoga Alliance UK. Her own experience of yoga’s capacity to aid recovery from injury and relieve stress led her to train as a teacher (gaining her qualification with The Yoga Haven in London) and fuels her desire to share the life-enhancing benefits of yoga with others. Paula has also trained to teach Restorative Yoga with the renowned Judith Hanson Lasater. Her teaching style has been described as nourishing.
 
Her commitment to studying yoga as a teacher and student is ongoing. Paula greatly enjoys learning from students and is eternally grateful to all the teachers she has had the good fortune to practise and study with. This year she is looking forward to deepening her knowledge by studying with leading vinyasa flow teacher Shiva Rea. Paula is also a writer with script-writing credits for the BBC and is currently penning a column for OM Yoga Magazine. Paula will be teaching our yoga retreat at Tilton House, 18 - 20th October 2013 and is also a senior teacher and lecturer on Sally Parkes' Yoga Teacher Training Program.
